Faye is a food attendant at a food outlet that offers breakfast food throughout the day. Part of her responsibilities is to be informed on trends in the Australian industry so that she can provide accurate and informed advice on the food outlet's menu options. Faye is looking back at past food trends to see if there is any dessert that she can recommend being added to the restaurant's menu this coming winter. She learns that during winter two years ago, food that paired nicely with jam was very popular and many establishments were promoting their meals that used jam. She mentions this to their manager and they both liked the idea of including such meals in their menu. The food outlet does a quick survey among their customers to check if there is still demand for jam-based food items. Upon doing the survey, they see that there is still a significant demand for jam-based food items. With this, Faye recommends that the food outlet include strawberry and raspberry jam as options for customers to order alongside with French toasts and crepes in their menu.
