Another example would be global tourism. On the one hand, tourism can be economically beneficial but too much tourism may lead to environmental degradation and cultural appropriation.

Cultural change due to globalization is both pervasive and invasive, there are very few places in the world that have not been fundamentally altered by the spread of ideas, people, goods, and organisms.
