Lone Choose Method Question

Suppose that Al, Betty and Karl are dividing a half- cheese and half- pepperoni pizza. They use the lone shoose method. Betty is the chhoser and Karl and Al are thedividers. In the first division, Al cuts the pizza into two shares $1 (120 degrees of cheese)and $2 60 degrees of cheese and 180 degrees of pepperoni). Karl picks the share he likes best and Al subdivides his share of the cake into three pieces and karl subdivides his share of the cake into three pieces.

a. describe which share ($1 or $2) Karl picks and how he might sub divide it

b. describe how Al would subdivide his share of the pizza

c. based on the subdivision in parts a and b, describe a possible final fair division of the cake
