Assume that for now you are an HR Consultant and Google requires you to develop a human resources strategic plan, commencing with a draft of the proposed plan.
In order to accomplish this, you will need to complete the following tasks to guide you through the development and preparation of a draft plan to commence with.
Making use of the project handouts and your own additional research, prepare the following documents:
PART 1
Research planning requirements
1. Describe Google's vision and mission statement and draw your conclusions and comment on how these may impact future human resource requirements.
2. Conduct a SWOT analysis for Google and draw your conclusions and comment on how particular aspects of this analysis may impact future human resource requirements.
3. Conduct a PESTEL analysis for Google and draw your conclusions and comment on how particular aspects of this analysis may impact future human resource requirements.
4. Investigate and draw your conclusions and comment on what options Google has for sourcing its labor requirements.
5. Create an organization chart for Google and identify who the key internal stakeholders are.
6. Discuss how you will communicate across the organization, to gain an understanding of the organization's HR preferences at each level and gain support for the HR Strategic Plan.
