The class has discussed genetic and environmental influences on development, prenatal development, and the newborn stage; therefore, this will be the focus of your homework. Continuing with the same template from your Theory Parent Handout homework, complete the slides for the portion.
To prepare:

C. Review Chapter 4: Birth and the Newborn Baby

E. Find and open your latest version of the Parent Handout template on your computer. You will be adding on to this document.

A. Describe two genetic factors that can influence prenatal development.
B. Describe two environmental factors that can influence prenatal development.
C. Discuss how you will use Bronfenbrenner's ecological systems theory to support families during the prenatal and newborn stage.
D. Explain three resources for families to support them during the prenatal and newborn stage of development. Be sure to include a link to each resource.
