Case study- Read the case study below and answer the questions that follow- Victoria is recently hired by an organization that sells insurance. The office she works for is very busy and has three on-site managers. Apart from the base pay, Victoria also receives commission for opening new accounts and selling new services. Merriam, one of her managers, is working for the company for 10 years, who openly scolds and commends employees based on their outputs. She provides scripts to her team about how to talk to customers. Merriam has several times publicly criticized Victoria for under achieving her targets. Brandon another manager at the office has been there for 20 years. In the weekly morning meetings, he provides targets to all employees. After the meeting he goes into his cabin and sits hidden behind his laptop. He seldom interacts with the employees. Brandon is not there to provide any managerial support to Victoria when she is stuck with a customer. The third manager is Helen. She just joined the insurance company but has 10 years of experience in this industry. Victoria finds Helen very helpful. Whenever Victoria is with a customer Helen often pops up to introduce herself and make sure if Victoria needs any help. Helen trusts her staff and enjoys seeing them grow. She organizes games to help her staff understand more about customer engagement and relationship building and provides helpful feedback during those sessions.
