Literature Support Completion requirements The goal of the literature support is to show the connection between the existing body of knowledge and the research study. The Research Project will either add new knowledge in a new direction or fill a gap where knowledge is missing, or both. In all cases, the study must rest firmly on the foundation provided by the existing body of knowledge and be clearly connected to it. The literature review is the primary way in which this connection is established. To complete DRP 802, you will submit one comprehensive document that is coherent and synthesizes the following tasks in this course.
Task 1: Historical Development of the Problem. Provide brief current literature support for the assertions made in the problem statement as it pertains to the historical development of the problem. Students will explore literature that reflects upon historic issues.
Task 2: Contemporary Perspectives and Your Contribution. Provide brief current literature support to describe (a) contemporary perspectives concerning the problem; (b) importance of the study as it relates to industry; and (c) students' current contributions to the practice of the business.
Task 3: Historical Development of the Theory and Future Research. Summarize current literature support to describe the (a) historical development of the theory; (b) directions for further contribution of the theory; and (c) bases for the principles to be explained.
Task 4: Describe the Framework. Provide a literature-based description of the concepts and theories that support the theoretical framework of the paper.
Use APA Level 3 headings to provide a coherent outline of the elements of the literature review. The content of the review must be drawn from scholarly sources or include justification for using other sources. The minimum length of a literature review is 10-13 pages to include at least 25+ scholarly sources, with 75% being published within the last six years. The literature review is intended to be exhaustive and may require more than the minimum number of pages to achieve this goal. The final deliverable for this course is a minimum of 15-page, APA formatted document. Additionally, as in your previous DRP course, you will submit each task deliverable along with a Grammarly report. Please see the instructions on how to install Grammarly and download the report in the Supplementary Resources Section.
