Assignment:

A well-conditioned runner completes a 13.1-mile morning run. The runner's body has metabolized most available blood glucose, and the liver will now mobilize stored glucose (via glycogenolysis). The hepatocyte is experiencing an energy deficit. Under these conditions for the liver:

a. Describe the status (i.e., enzyme activity increases or decreases) or change in molecular concentration of the following molecules.

b. Briefly notate the change in molecular regulation (Le. change in conformation of an enzyme, post-translational modification, change in molecule availability).
