Assignment

One of the important features of Agile Project Management is high-performance teams. Some of the traits of high-performance teams like self-managing, self-directing, and co-location may pose a challenge in healthcare organizations. Using the SBAR format, identify a trait of a high-performance team, give some context in healthcare, analyze for a root cause for why this may be a challenge and propose a recommendation on supporting high-performance teams in healthcare. You will also need to summarize your SBAR into an Executive Summary.

Use this Structure:

1. Situation: Give a description of the problem or situation

2. Background: Describe any context or background to the problem

3. Analysis: Give a detailed and thoughtful analysis of the question/situation. Use the information presented in this class to frame the issue and lay out an approach.

4. Recommendation: Answer your question by offering specific solutions or recommendations

5. Executive summary statement (put this at the beginning): Write a 2-3 sentence summary of the most important points/topics you wrote about in the analysis. Include details that are critical to understanding these topics.

Purpose: You may be required to inform a healthcare leader of the differences in the challenges of implementing a high-performance team and provide a recommendation. Providing an analysis that details the challenges and root causes demonstrates your knowledge and ability to apply these skills. Be sure to include enough details to in the SBAR to describe the context, the analysis, and how to apply these to healthcare projects. In your Executive Summary, be concise and condense your report into a brief statement that a healthcare executive can understand quickly.

Task

Option I: Use the SBAR format to describe the challenge of high-performance teams in healthcare, why this would be a challenge and your recommendation. Also, provide an Executive Summary that condenses your analysis into a brief statement.

Option II: Use ChatGPT from OpenAI (or another Generative AI tool that you use) to create an SBAR report and an Executive Summary using the criteria identified in Option A. For this option, use Generative AI to provide the answer to 4 criteria and provide the following:

A. Submit the prompt you used in Generative AI

B. Submit the response you received
