You have recently been hired as a digital marketing consultant to a very successful business in the United States called Lee's Artificial Flowers. Lee's has broken new ground in the artificial flower industry by creating patented, artificial flowers that look real and also smell like a flower. In other words, roses smell like roses and tulips smell like tulips. However, Lee's flowers will never expire. The majority of their inventory sales come from their website. Research has shown that this business model could be very successful in several foreign markets. However, your strategy will most likely be modified. Your task is to increase sales in a specific foreign market/region by developing a digital marketing strategy.

For this assignment, compose a 3 to 5 pages descriptive essay.

Task

For this part of the assignment, address the following:

Select an international market with growth opportunities through digital marketing for your product using scholarly sources.

1. Describe the following five elements on the country you selected:

a. Total population of the country, total online population, gross domestic product, B2C e-commerce, and average online spending, and annual ecommerce retail sales.

2. Describe the concept of network readiness. How does your country rank in terms of network readiness compared to other countries?

3. For this part of the assignment, address the following:

a. Identify and describe at least two online marketplaces used by the country you selected.
b. Identify at least three challenges you might face before launching your product or brand in your country of choice.

4. Develop your digital marketing plan/strategy for the country you selected. Include the following six factors: search engine marketing, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing, social media, mobile marketing, and email marketing.
