(A heavy drinker is defined as someone who drinks 14 or more drinks per week.) Of the 1800 men who answered YES, 56 were diagnosed with liver cancer during the 10-year study period. Of those who answered NO, 63 had liver cancer diagnosed during the 10-year period. (Nobody died or was lost to follow up during the study period.)
