My PICOT question is: For healthcare professionals (I.e., NPs, RNs, LPNs, CNAs) who deliver hospice care, does participation in an eight-week mindfulness-based intervention such as breathwork impact compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction over a 2-month timeframe? I plan to use the ProQOL 5.0 website the subjects will take a self-test as the first measure; then, following the 3-minute breath work intervention, they will test immediately before the intervention, then again at four weeks, and again at eight weeks for measure compassion satisfaction following the intervention.
