Assignment-

Aim: The assignment requires students to be able to research relevant information on famous leaders By this stage students will have learnt about leadership theories including styles of leaders and traits. This presentation will involve identifying and gathering information from a number of reliable sources and critically analysing it in relation to the question and presenting it to students in the class room environment in a style that is informative, concise, instructive and interesting.

Assessment brief: Students must individually:

-Choose a famous historical or contemporary leader from any field (eg, hospitality, business, politics, sport).

-Describe the background, achievements and known leadership style of that leader.

-Analyse what can be learnt from that leader in relation to the leadership theories covered in class.

-Provide examples that demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of leadership theories.
