Question 2 - (a) Derive an expression for the loss of head due to friction in pipes.

(b) Prove that the velocity of sound wave in compressible fluid is given by C = √kρ.

Question 3 - (a) Derive an expression for Hagen-Poiseuille's formula for viscous flow.

(b) Derive continuity equation in three dimensional Cartesian coordinate system.

Question 4 - (a) Derive an expression for calculating time period of oscillation of floating body.

(b) Explain with neat diagram construction and working of bellow and diaphragm pressure gauge.

Question 5 - Explain different types of fluid flows in detail.

Note - Need elaboratively as per the questionnaire and also, need the reference book from which they have taken these. Need the answers not from the web from the reference books with good clarification.
