An infinite chessboard with squares of side s has a charge e at the center of every white square and a charge -e at the center of every black square. How much work is requiredto move one point charge from its position to an infinite distance from the board, along  a path perpendicular to the plane of the board. First do this problem for a 5x5 board and the point charge on the center square. Next do it for a 7x7 square and the point charge on the center square.
