Overall, our group throughout the simulation had a ton of success with all of our accurate decisions we made each quarter. We've had the highest NIM through out all of the quarters. In the beginning, it was an ordeal just trying to figure out the functions of the simulations. We were amongst the others groups having problems but until we figured out the in and outs of the whole simulation, it was just smooth sailing till the end. There were much to understand about the simulation. We decided to have some practice throughout the first two quarters to see how our decisions would impact our overall performance. If I were to do it over, I would keep interest rates no more than .75 of a percent lower than the market rate. After looking at all the data this seems to be the range our firm saw the most growth with; additionally, I would avoid selling off the loan packages unless it was absolutely necessary and attempt to prevent that situation from occurring. Our team focused throughout the whole simulation to have the highest NIM compared to the other banks. This promptly brought our NIM to be the highest amongst our competitors. In the next conjunction, I would like to keep the same strategy of having the highest NIM. This provides the best measure to depict the profitability of my bank.
