Your department has dramatically improved its performance. You have been commended for your excellent leadership skills. Your senior manager needs to improve performance in all the major departments and asks you to produce a presentation on team working. Prepare a report:

For your department, assess the benefits of team working using flexible working practices; team building processes and the formation of teams as suggested by Tuckman; structures and interactions using Belbins team role theory or Adair’s Action Centred Leadership model; the politics of working relationships, anti-discriminatory practices and behaviours.
Think of 1 situation which is an actual example of your work in a team as a leader and 1 situation which is an actual example of your work in a team as a member. You must explain the use of teams for conflict resolution in general and also how you dealt with conflicts or difficult situations that arose in both situations.
For the example covered 3.2, review whether the team achieved their goals or not. Justify your answer covering training, supervision, monitoring and evaluation OF TEAM MEMBERS.
