Choose a problem that is impacting the world. e.g. poverty, climate, healthcare, etc. Imagine you have built a system that can help tackle that problem.

Your solution could use some of concepts/technologies you have learned about in this course .e.g. CRM, ERP. Databases, SCM systems, etc. You have been given a chance to go to Dragons Den to pitch your idea and persuade the judges to fund your projects. You ask for this funding to either build, scale or implement this system.

Use a  business case paper to pitch to the judges. Make sure you highlight the following in your proposal:

The problem your solution will address:

  • What benefits your solution will produce
  • How have you incorporated technologies to address the problem
  • Highlight the system development & SDLC you have envisioned to make this system
  • Make sure you highlight the delivery framework you have used if the system is already built or what you are planning to use if you are building the system? Give some explanation on why you have chosen that framework. e.g. agile, waterfall, etc.
  • Demonstrate how you have used Porter's Five Forces Model to show the judges your idea is worth their investment
  • The table of Content should have these sections: Introduction to issue/problem, Benefit and the solution, The technologies and why, System development, delivery framework, Porter five forces
