Weekly Topics/Tasks: Personal Budget - Future NOT Current

Assume you have accepted an offer from an employer you met through a networking event.

Research the salary range for the particular job you accepted. Use these resources: LinkedIn, Salary; Glassdoor; PayScale; and Indeed (all are ".com") and/or the GSU Library or the RCB Career Advancement Center and speak with someone who can direct you to additional resources for determining the starting salary for the type of job you accepted.

Anticipate the expenses (including housing, transportation, food, etc.) you will incur when you begin working at your new job when, and assuming that, your expenses are NOT paid by someone else such as parents, the military, scholarships, etc. It is the future and you now have this great job.
