You have just been appointed as Digital Retail Strategist for a company in the Apparel industry to help them start selling their products to consumers online in the UK.
The Managing Director needs your help in understanding how the company should design its online platform to maximize the selling potential.
Your task is to develop a Digital Selling strategy for this company to help them start selling online with a budget of approximately £70,000 which you can use for setting up the platform, identifying the ideal product range & devising sales plans for initial acceleration
Your strategy must provide, in business report format:
A. A critical evaluation and recommendation of the most appropriate building blocks of your digital retail platform i.e. Your website
B. An overview of the key functionality that you would require to enhance customer experience and lead to conversions.
C. A coordinated view of the key tactics related to product, marketing, sales & operations that the company would employ to accelerate the sales momentum.
D. A high-level plan that outlines costs, resources and timings of your strategy activities, and other key aspects of the implementation.
You may wish to critically evaluate and recommend other e-commerce factors that aren't listed above but were discussed in the module.
