Assignment Task

You are asked to evaluate and reflect on the experience in running a company using SimVenture while in a team.

You will evaluate 5 business elements (Marketing, Finance, Operations, Technology, H R) reflecting on the Theory learned in class applied to
your SimVenture business practice. You must demonstrate how the theories learned in class were used in their activities within the business
game and how the outcomes were affected either positively or negatively.

Academic references must be used where relevant to demonstrate greater understanding of the subject.

Introduction: Describe the approach taken to running the business and the employability skills employed. Include a summary of the Business results.

Marketing: Demonstrate an understanding of the key marketing concepts and how organisational performance can be enhanced by business's marketing orientation and the roles of analysis, planning, implementation and control in the marketing process

Finance: Demonstrate analytical and interpretative skills in relation to financial data and the risk associated with business financial positioning

Human Resources : Show an understanding of human behaviour in organisations and how managerial performance can be enhanced through effective, ethical human resource management.
