Assignment:

Proposal 6 suggests increasing the taxable earnings cap on the Social Security payroll tax. By enacting this proposal, it would improve Social Security's financial sustainability in the long run. As a team, we unanimously accept this proposal and wish to proceed. This reduces the deficit by $785 billion.

Proposal 7 suggests limiting the tax deduction for charitable donations and would reduce the deficit by $176 billion. As a group, we have decided to accept and move forward with this proposal.

Proposal 8 suggests to increase the tax on gas by 35 cents per gallon which would contribute to economic growth. As a team, we have approved this proposal with a vote of 6-1. This reduces the deficit by $515 billion.
