Really like Dell's commitment to organizational Total Quality Management and the way they include all levels in assuring their product have the highest levels of possible quality.

The inclusion of suppliers and customers into the company's long term planning is really the ultimate commitment to Total Quality Management in that it drives collusion in communication throughout the entire supply chain.

Once the long term plan is completed the business needs to translate the strategic plan into executable tactile short term goals (Lee, 2002).

This facilitates better levels of quality as well as improved efficiencies since all parties in the supply chain can align their planning to support the company's goal. At the end of the day the customer is the winner with a high quality pro duct at reduced prices.
