Project - Delivery Marketplace Mobile App
Project Overview:
Grownomics is a digital marking & software development company based in Melbourne, Australia We are trying to build a mobile application platform which can integrate the three existing platforms in the delivery industry in Australia. This application will work as a marketplace to make it simpler for owner-operators and fleets of all types of vehicles (cars, mini, medium and heavy trucks) to quickly find and book freight/loads with upfront pricing calculator and quick payments. It also provides the ability for freight owners to place a lob on the app with the pickup & delivery locations, dimensions & weight of the items, etc. Once the lob is placed, the app tracks with GPS location of nearest active drivers like Uber and alerts those drivers whose vehicle matches with the freight requirements. The driver can then sec the lob and all the details including price estimation before accepting. The pricing logics will be done in the backend such that the total payment will be split between Grownomics, driver and the freight owners. There will be 3 UI dashboards - Admin (Grownomics), driver and freight owners. The app must be capable of storing the history of orders in database and pull the information from database if a similar posting happens with identical dimensions and distance
This app will potentially be an amalgamation of Air tacker, Uber Freight, and e-go delivery. We are also looking to have a desktop application based on the delivery capabilities of the students in 3 months. We are looking to build this on an open source platform like Laravel or Code Ignitor. This app must be built for Android and iOS.
