Organization of argument: Each point contributes specifically to the substantiation of your thesis (suggestion: outline your ideas so that you can establish an order of importance before you start to compose the paper)

Referencing: You must refer back to the text while proving your point; you simply cannot do without. Follow the cool technique known as I.C.E. i.e. Introduction, Cite, Explain. This means every mentioning of the text, be it paraphrasing, summarizing, or quoting, demands proper MLA citation. Be sure to introduce the quote, write the actual quote, and offer an explanation of the quote (to show how that said portion of the text supports your thesis)

Conclusion: A (transitional) signal, like in conclusion, etc. that you are wrapping up your discussion, summaries of all the points you made in your body paragraphs, reinstatement of your thesis, and recommendation for further studies.
