Assignment:

How about my last paragraphs: Each Branch interacts with the others through a system of checks and balances. The legislative Branch makes laws, but the executive Branch can veto them. The judicial Branch can declare laws unconstitutional. The executive Branch enforces laws, but the legislative Branch can impeach the president. The judicial Branch interprets laws, but the president appoints the judges and the Senate confirms them. The original Constitution had numerous weaknesses when it came to defining the powers of each Branch of government. For the Legislative Branch, the Constitution did not provide sufficient direction on how laws should be made, which created uncertainty and allowed for possible abuse of authority.

Similarly, in the Executive Branch, the Constitution's lack of clarity on the extent of executive power created room for potential overreach. Lastly, the Judicial Branch faced its own challenges as the Constitution needed to establish a clear process for judicial review, causing possible discrepancies in how laws are interpreted.
