Part 1) Think of a time that you needed to negotiate. Summarize the situation breakdown of your past negotiation and whether or not you had any type of structure in your negotiation. For Example, did you go through any type of planning process before the negotiation

1) Defining the process- I had a salary target that I wanted to obtain. I had researched a salary range for the position and had established a minimum salary that I would accept to change positions.

a. Where did you learn it? From past job interviews I knew that researching salary ranges was important.

b. Did you have a process? My process was informal and based on past experience.

2) Assembling the issues and defining the bargaining mix; -- I didn't do this.

a. I did not have a process for defining my bargaining mix.
