Defining Literacy & Emergent Literacy

Students will refer back to Chapter 1, 2, and 3 to review what Literacy and Emergent Literacy means for Infants, Toddlers and Preschoolers. These chapters will help you recall the definitions and different activities that you can do with the three discussed age groups to assist them in the development of their Literacy and Emergent Literacy skills including language development. Each student will define literacy and emergent literacy as it pertains to each age group. Each student will have a total of three (3) paragraphs in your report. All of these three paragraphs are to focus on Defining literacy and emergent literacy skills for all 3 age groups

#1) The 1st paragraph will be focusing on infant's development .

#2) The 2nd paragraph will focus on the toddler's development.

#3) The 3rd paragraph will focus on the preschooler's development.
