Politics, which is the process we use to select our leaders and the policies implemented, is taking place around us daily. Think about how the study of political science can influence our understanding about politics and our potential involvement in our political system.
Along with your textbook reading for the week, here is an additional reading to consider about politics and the study of political science: Peacock, Cynthia, & Leavitt, Peter. (2016). Engaging Young People: Deliberative Preferences in Discussions About News and Politics. Social Media + Society.

Each of the follow-up posts must include a scholarly source as well. Don't forget to look over the instructions and the discussion rubric as a reference when you are writing your discussion posts.
