Case Study: You are being introduced to two major laws regarding toxic substances. In this assignment, examine laws that regulate chemicals and pesticides that are already existing in commerce and newly introduced chemicals.

Across the United States there are many abandoned factories, naval bases and former garbage dumps that contain hazardous waste. CERCLA was the first law to help remove and remediate the toxic sites and allocate financial responsibility for those responsible.
