This paper in on The Age of the Internet; The internet is thought to be one of the transforming agents in our culture today. Most adolescents have internet connections at home, but along with the many benefits of the internet, there is an enormous cost. For example, among the opportunities offered wit social networking, there are opportunities for sexual predators to prey on children and adolescents. Likewise, with the ability to locate information and images at the click of a button, there is also access to thousands of internet pornographic sites. On one hand, the internet is a powerful tool, and on the other hand, it is a potentially devastating agent. If you can find any information on or article on "Adolescents and the Internet" answer the following questions: What are the benefits of internet use for adolescents, what do one thinks are the greatest risks involved in adolescent internet use, and what are some ways to help adolescents not only stay away from the dangers but also have self-control and restraint when using the internet?
