Question 2: Explain the elements of criminal responsibility. Apply at least one example of a criminal defence to demonstrate how criminal responsibility can be negated or reduced, using one academic source to address the question. (based on module 2)

Question 3: To what extent are police histories reflected in the Australian public policing today? Apply at least one example and one academic source to address the question. (based on module 3)

Question 4: Should limits, restrictions, and safeguards be placed on police powers? Why/why not and if so, to what extent? Apply at least one example and one academic source to address the question. (based on module 4)

The purpose of this workbook entry is to assist you in progressively developing your understanding of key concepts, ideas, and arguments presented in weekly modules and readings and to provide an opportunity for defining and applying these to a range of contemporary issues and debates.
