Maryland agency rules (regulations)
In the following questions, you will locate the Maryland regulation(s) addressing the right to be accompanied by a service animal in places of public accommodation.
Question 1. Cite (in Bluebook form) the section of the Code of Maryland Regulations (popularly known as "COMAR", but you should use Bluebook citation form as illustrated under Maryland in Table 1) that requires a place of public accommodation (such as a restaurant) to permit, as a reasonable accommodation, the use of a service animal by an individual with a disability. Describe how you located it.
Question 2. How current is the version of the COMAR section you cited above? How do you know?
Question 3. Does COMAR define the term "service animal" for the purposes of the section you found above? If so, cite the definitions section, and describe how you located it.
Question 4. Find and cite the COMAR sections that provide this information. Also, cite the statutory authority below.
