This Paper's Topic
It is difficult to avoid political conversations about national security, the economy, jobs, healthcare, and public safety.
This writing assignment is a sensitive one because there are times when these political conversations blend or intertwine more than one of these topics.
As you may know, taxpayers have funded the construction of a wall between the border of the United States and Mexico. Some would argue that this effort serves both an economic and national security agenda and yet, with an absence of the same rigor at the northern border of the United States and Canada others would say that cultural insensitivity and discriminatory overtones are to blame.
This paper explores topics related to our perceptions of undocumented immigrant workers.
