The isomerization of cyclopropane C3H6 is believed to take place by the mechanism shown in the subsequent equations C3H6 + C3H6 ---> C3H6 + C3H6+ C3H6+ ---> CH2=CHCH3; C3H6+ is an excited cyclopropane molecule. At low pressure step one is much slower than step two. Obtain the rate law for the mechanism at low pressure and explain your logic.
