You are a new IT analyst for a large University. Your boss gives you an assignment and send you off to collect the data. Please provide the information to his questions below.

The admissions department for the university has called and said they have the budget for a new admissions systems to keep track of all the potential students and all the correspondents. Your boss wants you to go and find out what is the problem they are trying to solve. They currently have a system and he wants to know why that is not good enough.
