Learning Contract - Industrial Robotics
A. Purpose Statement:
The purpose of this course is to enable me to: learn about a versatile field of Industry Robotics to upgrade my skills in Electro-technology.
B. Learning Outcomes:
I will be able to provide evidence that I can: (Suggest three to six learning outcomes only)
1. To define the meaning of Industrial Robotics
2. To Explain the importance of the Industrial robotics in today's business environment
3. Compare and contrast the pros and cons of Industrial robots and its impact on Society
4. To explain the future of Industrial robots
C. Course Content:
During this course I will be studying the following areas of interest: (Describe the area of interest in more detail)
- Electro-technology
- Digital technology
- Electronics
- Robotics
D. Resources required:
During this course I need access to the following resources (List any physical resources you need access to and that your technical advisor has agreed to)
This is only necessary if you are going to undertake experimental or practical work and need specialised equipment
- No special resources necessary for this report
1) Communication: Since it is a complex research project it will involve interaction with my lecturers for guidance and it will improve my communication skills.
2) Problem Management: The Robotic report is a big field of research. It will encounter problems which may have to be solved at every stage. This will improve my problem solving skills.
3) Innovation: Robotic is an innovative field of study and will improve my skills in continuous improvement.
4) Critical thinking: Robotic is a complex and dynamic field requiring analytical thinking and making important decisions. This will improve my critical thinking.
5) Working collaboratively: Robotic topic research will require interaction with colleagues in the class and will help with team work capabilities.
F. Assessment
The following assessment will assess the learning outcomes described in section B:
Assessment
In this assessment I will: write a report of appx. 3000 words. The report will comprise of Purpose, Discussion, Summary and References.
