Question: The student developing a summary matrix and paper. Within these two deliverables, the student will demonstrate their knowledge of the laws covered in the course and internal documents a company would use to direct internal compliance with pertinent laws. These deliverables enable students to demonstrate their ability to link legal and policy compliance to day-to-day business activities associated with technology security. To provide focus for the project, each student will assume they are developing these documents to support the needs of a fictitious information technology service provider HC DataPro, Inc

There are two main requirements for the course project:

(1) A Federal and State Law Summary Matrix in Word Document format and

(2) A Paper that will require the students to summarize legal issues associated with technology security and write a company governance document including a policy statement, standards, and procedures. This paper will also be in Word Document format.
Students will develop their draft of the course paper deliverable 2 and submit. This paper should summarize legal issues associated with technology security and include a company governance document containing: a policy statement, standards, and procedures.
