Question - 0.4261 g of starch is ignited, and the traces of S present are converted to SO42- . The SO42- residue is brought to a volume of 500 mL with water. This solution gives 269.2 mV in a cell with a SO42- ion selective electrode. 25.0 mL of this solution is then mixed with 10.0 mL of 4.00x10-5 M Na2SO4, and the cell then shows 255.3 mV. Assume the electrode has an ideal Nernstian slope for SO42- at 25C.

How many ug/g of S are present in the strach? FM of S=32.06

Please explicate why you choose your answer!
