a) HCl has a pKa of about -7. What percentage of HCl molecules remain undissociated (that is, as H-Cl instead of H+ + Cl-) in solution? (note that this percentage is quite independent of the formal concentration).

b) How about for a solution of nitric acid (which has pKa of -1.4) Do the calculation for a formal conc. of 1M and for the formal concentration of 0.1M.
