Janet is a seventeen -year-old high school volleyball player. Janet is in the middle of her high school volleyball season. Recently she is finding herself fatigued in the middle of practices and at the end of games.

The team practices for approximately two hours per day after school, matches are scheduled regularly two times per week including weekends, and the team workouts in the high school weight room three times per week for approximately forty five minutes.

Janet has recently read a couple of articles on carbohydrate intake pre-exercise, post-exercise, and during exercise.

After reading these articles she feels this may help her energy during practices and games.
