Question - You're given a pill that may or may not contain acetylsalicylic acid. You do a titration of the pill and find that it contains an acid with a pKa identical to that of acetylsalicylic acid. However, you're told that these pills may contain terrapinic acid instead and terrapinic acid has a pKa identical to that of acetylsalicylic acid. Assuming that you can isolate and purify the acid in the pill, use your knowledge of chemistry to propose and experiment to differentiate the two compounds (terrapinic acid and acetylsalicylic acid).
I am stuck in between this question please help me out
