3. Read through the List of World Heritage in Danger at https://whc.unesco.org/en/danger/ and choose one contemporary example of tangible cultural heritage in danger. Note: You must choose a tangible cultural heritage site.

a. State the cultural site you have chosen from UNESCO's List of World Heritage in Danger.

b. Provide a brief description of the site (where it is located, what it consists of, and the people who built it).

c. Briefly explain its cultural significance.

d. Why is the site endangered?

e. Based on what you have learned, why is it important to protect it?

f. What, if anything, is being done to preserve it?
