MSU Program to support the academic success of students. Fostering a holistic college experience for residential students with a focus on academic success.

KPIs: student achievement (grades), attendance rates, student satisfaction, tutor performance, tutoring sessions, and social media engagement.

Odd to overcome: team commitment to develop quality tutor sessions and involve students in the AEP resources. Student engagement towards the program.

Strategies:

1- Update Organizational Structure

2- Staff Training and Development

Clearly define roles and responsibilities. Lack of commitment may be due to not having a clear picture of what is expected and quality job standards. Organize the group in a way that would facilitate holding each other accountable. Training and development programs can also complement the capabilities of staff members to perform better. Training should also include dynamics to understand the program's values, mission, and purpose and build a sense of belonging and teamwork.

3- Implement Data Analytics Strategies

To attain goals, we need to make sure they are measurable. A data-driven approach would give more insights into the situation to identify the gaps and areas of improvement. Enhancing a better and informed decision process. By implementing data analytics, we can measure the KPIs and also analyze behavior trends of students to know how to support the journey even before they have a D in a class to realize they need help.

4-Enhance Feedback Mechanisms

Measure customer, employee, and employer satisfaction to provide a high-quality service. Assess the performance to understand if the service is effective and coherent with the goals. This effort comes from all parties from the different areas to evaluate. Starting from the end use, which are the students taking the tutoring sessions, going all the way up to the program structure and dynamic that are the director's responsibilities.

Propose a creative approach to reach out to more students and find methods to engage Gen Z. Evaluate strategies and adapt to students' needs. Noticing that one of the highest challenges of students failing classes is that they wait until the last minute to act, we would start an initiative to reach out to students under a 2.0 GPA. Students' success depends on building a winning team to surround them and inspire them to do better. They are all facing similar changes and challenges in their lives. They can help each other as additional resources.
