Assignment:

The computer science instructor at a local high school asked you to visit her class and give a presentation about project management. You have just a few days to prepare and develop a presentation describing project management, tools, and techniques. Thinking about what to present, you define project management and describe how projects are planned, scheduled, monitored, and reported upon.

Tasks:

Give an example presentation that gives the class an overview of project management. Explain the what, why, how, and who of project management.
Provide the class with a list of the top five (5) most crucial project management terms, along with their definitions.
Think of an everyday event like buying a car, building a house, changing a flat tire, or a similar project, and describe how a project manager might handle the matter to the class.
Include the steps and the sequence you would take in completing the example project you selected.
Be sure that your final response is more than a series of bullet points. Your response and associated verbiage should communicate a clear understanding of project management, what this involves, and the steps one would take to manage and implement a project.
