The research paper is on the business leader, Elon Musk. We have chosen this because we feel that he is such an innovative, visionary leader who has taken the approach of creating products and companies that are designed to sustain the planet. We are planning to research about how his family of companies is going to have to shape internal processes to continue to innovate in sustainable practices after President Trump's announcement of U.S. withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord. The President's decision led Musk to resign his position on three different White House advisory councils. These decisions will impact and create new challenges within many of his companies that we hope to address. The culture of his organizations have played a major role in their success and it will be interesting to research how this culture can potentially influence policy and continue to innovate and improve, as well as be emulated by others.
