Her urine culture shows a susceptible E. coli (susceptible to all treatments listed below). Please compare the safety and efficacy of the following options. What would make you choose one over another?
1. nitrofurantoin 100 mg po BID x 7 days
2. TMP/SMX DS (160 mg/800 mg) po BID x 3 days
3. levofloxacin 250 mg po daily x 3 days
4. cephalexin 500 mg po q12hrs x 7-14 days
