Sucrose (C12H22O11 FW= 342.2965) combusts in oxygen to generate carbon dioxide and water vapor. When 20-g sample of is combusted in s bomb calorimeter with a calorimeter constant of 6.595 kJ/ degrees celsius, the temperature increases from 25.0 degrees celsius to 72.21 degrees celsius. Determine the heat of formation (in kJ/mol) for sucrose { carbon dioxide and water vapor change of H, values of -393.5 kJ/mol and -241.8 kJ respectively. (Hint: you need to first write a balanced equation)
