It is estimated that more than 5 billion metric tons of CO2 is added to the atmosphere each year. Assume that CO2 is an Ideal gas at 25 oC and 1 atm. The volume of CO2 that is added each year based on 5.0 x 10^12 kg of CO2 (g) added per year is 2.8* 10^12 L. If the atmosphere were a closed system and the temperature increases by +2 oC while the volume is constant (Use the volume calculated in F.1) with 25 oC and 1 atm as the initial temperature and initial pressure.), the atmospheric pressure is calculated to be 1.0 atm.

Could this have an effect on Global Climate Change? If so, in what way? If not, why not? Explain your answer in terms of weather events over the past 10 to 20 years.
