Can you answer this problem for me in a good detailed form?
This is the experiment I have to experiment estimate some results and do a conclusion and discussion of the way in which the method may of reflected in my results can you:
Predict the results
Explain results you have predicted
Give sources of error for the method
How could the experiment could be modified to determine the optimum pH more accurately?
Limitations of the experiment and improvements
Cut squares of developed film measuring 0.5cm x 0,5cm as accurately as you can. Thirty squares should be sufficient for the experiment.
Measure 2cm2 of trypsin into a test tube and add 2cm2 of one of the buffer solutions at a particular pH. Do this twice more so you have three test tubes with a mixture at that pH.
Put them in a water bath at 37 degrees leave for 2 minutes.
Add a square of film to the mixture in each tube in the water bath and start the stop clock Cheak each tube frequently for signs that the gelatine has been digested. You will see the black silver falling from the film and turning the mixture grey. Shake the tube each time check it. Record the time taken for digestion of the gelatine.
Repeat steps 2 to 6 using buffers at the other pHs. Remember 3 tubes per pH.
